About Carlos

Thank you for taking the time to learn about Carlos. Carlos is an amazing, 1 year old Lemon colored Walker Houndpuppy. He is SUPER high energy and is great with kids and other dogs. He is about 55lbs and lanky, until he fills out. He doesn't know his own strength and his excitement can easily over power a smaller person. We continue to work on training him so he's not so crazy and spastic. As crazy as he is he'll also snuggle you like no other and he believes he's a 5lb lap dog. We have an older dog and she has become aggressive with Carlos at times. Carlos needs a home with land, such as a farm or ranch, or to be with a hunter where he can run and get his crazy out after retiring for the day cuddled on your lap. We wouldn't feel comfortable rehoming him to an apartment, condo or small space unless his person would be home with him and committed to taking him to the park or for long walks daily. He'd thrive on a few acres. We don't want money for Carlos. We'd prefer a donation to Rescue Me and the comfort of knowing he has a good home. We will need to vet his potential new owners to ensure he will go to a compatible home. He has been on a wellness plan, neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative with monthly parasite treatment.
