She was an owner surrender (due to moving) on 2/22 and needs senior care in a loving home! Per the previous owner, she is respectful around other dogs, but should not be placed in a home with cats. Notes from the shelter: 2/25/21: 'Easy to get out of kennel. Takes treats gently. Just a slow easy dog. She will follow me around the yard after exploring. She will come sit by my feet if I sit down. Likes attention and seems affectionate. She walked well through the kennels and was shy at first. She listened to basic commands. Easy to return to kennel.' LASSIE - ID#A0935333 This is terrible. She looks utterly shattered at her new circumstances. She doesn't look 12. When people dump dogs they make up a lot of crap, including the dog's age. Go meet her! She is really devastated and is a very good dog who has been shortchanged. My name is Lassie and I am a spayed female, brown. The shelter thinks I am about 12 years old. I weigh approximately 60 pounds. I will need minor medical care. I have been at the shelter since Feb 22, 2021.
