About Custard

This 2-year old premium sweet treat came to us after being found as a stray with a broken leg. He might have had a broken tibia and fibula, but he was still a happy-go-lucky and wiggly boy, who was so happy to meet the friendly animal control officer who came to his aid. He was in a cast for several months while his leg healed, but we are happy to report he got a clean bill of health at his latest veterinarian appointment and is ready to find his forever family. Custard is a happy gent and one of the wiggliest boys around. He is friendly, playful, curious, and so, so happy. He loves to take walks and wrestle with one of his canine foster siblings, but is just as happy to curl up and take a nap close to his people. If you work from home, he will gladly be your assistant. He has started on some longer walks now that his leg has healed, showcasing his skills as a professional sniffer, and is enjoying exploring all the world has to offer. Custard oozes sweetness like the center of a Boston Cream Donut. In typical pit bull fashion he loves to be close to his people. He also loves nylabones and he's ridiculously smart when figuring out dog puzzles when food is involved. Custard likes to rest his head on the top of the seat next to yours while you drive just to remind you he is adorable (and loving). He loves his canine foster sisters, but is a little tooooo interested in kitties. Due to his lack of history, older kids would be best for this little slice of sweet potato pie.
