*ADOPTION PENDING* Rare Jewel Gemma! Gemma is a beautiful approximately 5-month-old, 26-pound, blue merle Australian Shepherd mix jewel. Gemma is a treasure trove of angel and sass. To put it succinctly, Foster Mom says she is simply, 'Super sweet'. A preciously playful bauble, Gemma enjoys frolics with her fellow canine. After a good game of tug, this little charm is content to snuggle up on Foster Mom's recliner. Joy-filled Gemma was made to adore her Person, and be adored in return. Gemma is housetrained and paws her Person's hand when it's time to go out. She does just fine in her crate, but not surprisingly, especially likes hanging out in her doggy play yard. Car jaunts are another Gemma approved pastime. She's a puppy-in-progress with a cache of energectic exuberance she needs to expend-- and then she settles in for some doting downtime. Gemma needs a little polish on her leash work. She play bites a little but responds well to 'No bite'. Gemma is a smart trinket to train, and is eager to please! She will be a wonderful buddy for a family with older children or work from home companion. What does Gemma's Forever Home have? Gemma's exuberance and 'thrilled to see you and be seen' bouncing are best expressed in a home with children 8 an up. She needs a fenced in yard and wouldn't do well in an apartment setting.
