About Buster

Adoption Fee: $350
Redbone Coonhound / Beagle
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Looking for the perfect dog? Ladies & gentleman meet our little lover boy #Buster. Affectionate, loyal & oh so handsome, Buster would be the perfect addition any family. He's a 1 year old Cattle Dog/Beagle mix who weighs in around 65lbs. We actually rescued him from being shot at in Detroit. Buster loves to sleep in bed & cuddle on the couch just as much as he loves being outside running around with a toy. He loves his food & treats as well as loves his nap time in his kennel. Buster's favorite trick is his hand shake & while you are shaking his hand you can feel how soft his fur is. Buster has many foster sisters & enjoys playing with them inside & outside as well as chilling out in the garage with his foster dad. He's 100% potty trained, 100% crate trained & great on a leash. Buster does phenomenal with other dogs, kids & curious about cats. Adoption #Requirements: No Exceptions - Fenced in Yard Required - Buster's new home must have another dog for him to bond with Buster is currently up for adoption through Lending A Helping Paw Dog Rescue. His adoption fee is $350 & will include his distemper, rabies, bordetella, parvo, & lepto vaccines; deworming; microchip; heartworm test; fecal test & being fixed. Buster is currently on both flea & tick, as well as heartworm prevention. Buster is currently being fostered within the metro Detroit area. We kindly ask that you please wait until then to ask any questions. ***PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE POST & FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS**** With the Covid-19 Pandemic going on we are still doing adoptions, but please remember that we are all volunteers and safety comes first. With our rescue being based in the Metro Detroit area, all prospective adopters must live within the state of Michigan (which means No out of state adoptions). Please remember we are not a shelter and are 100% foster based. Once you submit your application, it may take up to 2 weeks for us to get back to you. So please be patient with us. Again, we kindly ask that you please read the entire post to answer your questions. If you cannot follow the instructions properly, we will skip your application and move onto the next one. We kindly ask that you save any questions, comments or concerns for the phone interview. We kindly ask the following: No phone calls, No pm's, & No multiple emails- We are all volunteers and promise to get back to you within a timely fashion! Lending A Helping Paw Dog Rescue; previously known as the PRO-PET-OTIC Foundation, is a 100% Foster-Based Rescue that is ran by all Volunteers. Which means that we are not a shelter & each animal is in an actual home with a foster family. We kindly ask that you put any questions within the email & our team of Volunteers will get back to you. With the overwhelming amount of emails please be patient with our 100% volunteer family and we will get back to you.
