She is very high energy and has little body awareness so we will not place her with young children as she may plow them down. She likes to chase cats so they are not recommended for her. Birdie is a super sweet, silly, active girl looking for her forever family! Located in Decatur Illinois Adoption fee $200 Applications can be filled out on our website. ********** adoption requirements ******** 1. Current/past pets MUST be up to date on vaccinations or titers ( rabies and DHPP at a minimum). Confirmed by your vet. 2. Current/past pets MUST be on heartworm prevention YEAR round ( all 12 months). Confirmed by your vet. 3. All pets MUST be listed on your application. 4. A lie on your application is automatic denial. 5. We call and confirm who owns your home with the city building. ( don't lie) 6. We check your local animal control for history of issues, relinquished or confiscated previous pets. 7. You MUST call you vet and allow them to give us the information we ask for! We will stop immediately with your application if we can not do your vet check. When you call to allow them to give out information, Check that all of your pets are current and will meet requirement 1 and 2. We only do meets with an approved application. You must be able to come for a meet and greet within 10 days of being informed that you are approved. Out of state adoptions are allowed, but we do not ship pets. Potential adopters and their dogs must come for a meet and greet. Meet and greet does not guarantee adoption. Applications can be filled out on our website *** applications that are not throughly/ completely filled out will NOT be considered.
