About Tucker

This is Tucker, he has been my best friend his entire life. He is the best dog ever. Tucker is +10 years old pure bread JRT. He has always been a consistent 15lb weight, I feed him once a day. His birthday is October 16, 2010. I have had the privilege to care for him his entire life. As he is growing I've come to the conclusion that the environment we are living in is causing a huge amount of stress for him. He needs more room and attention than my family is able to give. Tucker does better with adults than children. My favorite attributes of Tucker: He knows many commands and is always eager to please. He loves warm sunny spots and blankets. Sometimes he will use his snout as a snorkel and poke it out of the edge of the blanket. He is not aggressive around food; you can take food from his mouth. He knows he will be fed. Just say 'give' and he'll give it. Loves small stuff animal toys, squirrel toys in particular. Also loves duck flavor bones/treats. He is not really into 'dog toys' Commands: Give - to give what is in his mouth including food. Place - 'go to your place' he has crate and safe personal space. He knows it to be his 'place' Stay - stay in place, as in 'wait here' Come Sit/paw His nicknames are Tucks, Tuckie, & Little Pig. My goal is to rehome Tucker, ideally locally. I want to provide better for him he deserves it.
