About Nova

Hi I'm Nova! Meet sweet Nova! Here's a note from her temporary foster mom: Nova is a 5 year old female Staffie Mix. She's around 60-65lbs and needed some time away from the shelter. She's been hanging with me for a few while I get to know her a little better for a fitting home. Nova is searching for her forever home as she was surrendered to the shelter at no fault of her own. She's honestly got all the basics down and would thrive with a savvy, energetic owner willing to continue with her training. She's a strong girl but is learning to heel nicely. Older kids would be best for her. She loves to play with balls. Note: Alpha & Omega Working Dogs will provide 1 free month of training for Nova She also knows: Sit, Paw, Down, Place, Come, and Crate. And is totally housebroken and crate trained!! She's got some energy for sure but is also a cuddle bug and enjoys a good belly rub and some lap time. She can be dog selective so she would require a meet. A low key dog that can respect her space would be recommended or she would thrive just fine with her hooman. She also has a pretty high prey drive chasing birds, bunnies and squirrels so no cats for this gal! She's such a sweet girl who really needs a second chance.
