Charlie is a 9-month-old hound mix weighing 29 pounds. As you can see from his sad face he was not well treated for these 9 months. He does have cherry eyes which we will take care of but he has scars like he was used as a bait dog. If that wasn't bad enough he was due to be euthanized. When we first brought him to the rescue he gave kisses as if to say thanks for saving me . He loves people but doesn't get along with big dogs. He has to be an only pet considering his past situation. He's not fully house trained yet, but we are working on it. He is still afraid of the leash. He was probably dragged to fight or beaten with it. In time he will realize he won't have to be afraid of it as he won't be hurt again.%A0%A0His adoption donation is $250 which includes his neuter, eye surgery, vaccinations and microchip. He has had a horrible life thus far so please show him the love he has been missing his whole life. http://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/Project/charlie-5/ We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. We have a page on our website that explains our adoption process, and contains a link to our adoption application. Here is the link: http://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/adoption-information-2/
