About Grace

Grace was originally found in the streets of Phoenix with a fractured paw and a broken heart. She had clearly just recently finished nursing a litter of puppies and found herself out, alone, injured and without her family. She was taken to the Humane Society for treatment. When no one came to claim her, she faced euthanasia for her injuries. Thanks to her foster mom opening her heart and home to this pretty girl, we were able to scoop her up. Grace has since been spoiled and shown nothing but love while healing from her injuries. She is finally on the mend, has had her splint removed and is now ready to give her heart to her forever family. Are you curious as to how this girl got the name 'Gentle Gracie'?? Well, despite her clearly having had a rough go in life, she is beyond sweet, gentle and loving. She adores everyone she meets, from young kids to all adults. She loves to be the center of attention, and she's even been referred to as a 'social butterfly'. Grace is incredibly smart, eager to please, and takes her treats gently, though she definitely prefers pets and affection as a reward. Despite her size, she fancies herself as a lap dog and would LOVE to be snuggled up on the couch or curled up in bed with you. She is still young, and after having had to lie low so her paw could heal, she is looking forward to finally getting out and getting some exercise. We know she's an active girl at heart and would love to join you on all your adventures. Spoiler alert: water is her FAVORITE! Grace would prefer to be your one and only, so we are looking for a home with no other pets. All she wants to do is love and be loved, and this girl deserves to be the center of someone's universe.
