About Spencer

Meet SPENCER! Spencer is a young hound mix (43 lbs) who came to us from a shelter in South Carolina. He is in foster now here in NJ and in his first 12 hours, we know that he is a slightly fearful dog who probably didn't have much interaction with humans. He is NOT house-trained yet and will need more leash training with a front harness although the shelter said he walks well on a leash. He is crate-trained and comes out of his shell with other dogs. His BEST match would be a home with another socialized, confident dog, older, respectful children, a quieter, less busy household and patient adopters who will work with him so he becomes the dog he's meant to be! All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations & microchipped. We strive to make the best match possible for each and every dog we place.
