My humans tell me that I may be a Maltese/Beagle Mix, but I am blind, so I could not say if they are right or wrong! I was so uncomfortable before I arrived at the shelter and I was so excited when the nice shelter people shaved off all of the painful mats entangling my beautiful and luxurious fur! My foster mama tells me and everyone else that I am very handsome, so I suppose it's true and my tan and white coat is finally starting to grow in! I am neutered, up to date on all of my vaccines and I am microchipped so that my new family can find me if I get lost! I'm blind but trust me you would never know. I am full of life, energy and I'm happy all of the time. I will give you un-ending kisses, I love long walks and I've been looking for a while for a place to call home. From his rescue: This sweet senior had an exam, a full dental and a senior blood panel done and all checked out great, but he does have a grade 3/6 heart murmur with NO symptoms of the murmur at this time. He is not on medication. Sadly, Simon had a badly inflamed eye that had to be removed and due to old trauma, he has little or no sight in his remaining eye. Simon is quickly learning his way around his foster home and his foster is teaching him to follow her voice. Simon deserves a forever home and family of his own; to have people love and cherish him for as long as possible. Right now he's doing great and is enjoying life. We feel that a quiet and calm home environment with a retired couple or single person with no children in the home would be the ideal situation for him. We will be requiring a single family home or townhome for Simon; he needs stability and a home that he can easily acclimate to his surroundings. Stairs would be an issue so we recommend a ranch or single story home only �'�|. with a yard since he does enjoy being outside in the sun!
