About Jack

Hello my name is Jack! My people tells me I'm a gentle little boy with the cutest ears and smile. I was an owner surrender and 5 months old per my precious owner. They could not keep me since their landlord said I couldn't stay and they also said they didn't have the time to commit to me that I need. When I meet new people I am shy at first but my foster mom says I warm right up once I'm comfortable and know I'm okay and loved. I have a foster dog sister named Elly and she is very nice to me and shared her toys and sleeps with me. We are friends and I want a home with another dog Luke her that will be nice to me and play with me. I have a vet appt coming up for a check up and to get all of my shots and microchip. When I am 6 months old my rescue will pay for my neuter to be done at one of their preferred bet offices. I am doing good with house training if you take me out often and be consistent. If left too long I may have an accident but usually go to the door to let you know I need to go. I am dog friendly and have been around a cats and didn't pay them much attention. I was in a home with children and I like them as well. I hope I get a new family soon and promise to be a good boy if given a chance, I do get scared with new people and the leash and you may need to pick me up until I know you won't hurt me and then I will walk on a leash. My foster mom had to carry me in my foster home the night I came to her but now I go right out on a leash with no issues. Just give me a little time and understanding because I didn't get the attention I needed in my previous home. I hope you will come see me soon and take me home. Love Jack
