About Trixie

Trixie is a 2-3 year old, 31 lbs Australian Cattle dog/Heeler. This sweetheart wandered up to an elderly man's property 2 months ago. She followed this man and his dog on their walks every day, he fed her and let her sleep on his porch. They tried to find an owner but she had no ID and no owner came forward for her. He can't keep her any longer so he reached out for help and we stepped up for her immediately! This poor girl's pads are all raw and bloody and her legs are scaled and scabby. She's off to the vet tomorrow for whatever medical care she will need plus vaccines, flea and deworming meds, heartworm test and she's not spayed. Trixie is very sweet, gentle and good with other dogs. The adoption fee is $500. We require a fully fenced yard. We do not adopt to homes with electric or invisible fences because they are not as safe for the dog.
