About Duke

Lab / Collie
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Duke! Duke is 6 months old and 52 pounds of pure puppy! He is such a loving and affectionate boy with lots of energy. He enjoys playing, eating, sleeping, and playing again and in that order. He is extremely intelligent and is both treat and toy motivated so he can easily be trained to do just about anything. He has mastered sit, rides fine in a car and he loves to walk, and already significantly improved on a leash. He is dog and cat friendly provided you properly introduce him and of course match him up with another spitfire-type puppy personality. He has plenty of joy and will keep you laughing not to mention the wet and sloppy kisses. He has plenty of those kisses to go around. Duke needs someone that can give him a good and loving home, with plenty of activity, a large fenced in yard to romp around in when the family is out and lots of indoor time with his humans. He will do best in a home with older children and another playful dog. He will require a stay-at-home individual. He is a good boy just full of puppy's energy! He loves stuff toys and doesn't destroy them and tennis balls! He will need continued obedience training and supervision, so he can be the best dog when all grown up! Duke has been fully medically vetted; neutered, had a set of puppy vaccines, and will require a booster, rabies, Bordetella, and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention To adopt this amazing puppy named Duke please go to our website to complete our online pre-adoption application http://www.southernskiesrescue.org/adoption-application
