About Roscoe

We have all read fairy tales where there is a happily ever after. Roscoe is waiting for his happily ever after. He would like to be Romeo to your Juliet or Prince Charming to your Snow White. He loves the lady dogs and would like his happy ending. Don't have another dog, no problem. Roscoe could use all the love for himself. Have kids - even better. He would be glad to love up on Hensel or Gretel or the seven little dwarfs or however many children you have. If you feel like you're the old woman who lived in a shoe who had so many children she didn't know what to do, Roscoe would be glad to help you with that. Roscoe is a chunky meatball lovin', older guy who weighs about 70 pounds. After his owners house burnt down, Roscoe found himself in a shelter and we came to his rescue! He has been a joy in his foster home! He snuggles the kids and the resident dog and has excellent manners. Roscoe hurt his leg in his foster home so he only has one back leg now! We love Roscoe and we think you will too! He really is one of the most kind, sweet dogs we have ever met! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
