Whether it grinds you down or polishes you up depends on what you are made of.' -Unknown Bella's certainly been through the grindstone, but she's made of love so we know that she just needs someone to help polish her so be happy and loved Found abandoned in an apartment for over a month, her finder took her in and brough to ACCT. That was in November and she's been waiting for a home ever since She arrived scared and timid but wanting to trust and to please. She found herself in a loving foster home where she learned about the joy of toys and naps (who can't relate?). She also learned about crate training, house training, how fun it is to share a house with someone and not be by yourself....and the wonders of cheese So why has Bella been overlooked? While she loves going for walks, she doesn't react well to other dogs so needs to be an only pet, which makes her very hard to find a home or rescue for Once comfortable at the shelter sleeping on her bed, after many weeks watching other pups go on to rescue or their forever home, Bella is starting to deteriorate She enjoys walks, but understandable hates going back in her kennel, and is starting to bark and bite at the kennel. It's completely understandable, but as a result she continues to be overlooked. But we know there must be someone out there for Bella. Someone who will provide her the time she needs to decompress after all that she's been through. Someone to give her the support she needs so that she is no longer anxious and is instead knows she is loved and is confident instead of timid and scared. And someone who has cheese. Lots of cheese.
