About Maceo

We can't believe that Maceo is even on the list to be put down in a few days! The big lug is just a PUPPY who hasn't been taught how to use his big clumsy feet. Maceo has been described as 'Strong, Conflicted, Undersocialized.' When put in the playyard, he has tried to play with dogs twice but just isn't sure how to play properly. He jumps into the staffs lap for attention, but flinches and gets scared when they try to pet him. We're not sure what this guy has gone through for the past 10 months, but it wasnt someplace with a loving touch. He needs a home who understands he is just a puppy and has had a hard past. He needs slow, routined structure, and may benefit from having a calm older dog to learn from. Since he cannot be pet regularly right now, he needs a home without kiddos.
