About Milo

Milo is a 1-year old, 45 lbs yellow lab mix. He is a sweet guy who needs a low key home. We rescued him from a shelter down south a couple of months ago. Milo absolutely loves other dogs, so another friendly dog in the home would be a bonus for him!! Milo's foster mom says 'Milo is an exceptional doggo. His handsome face, athletic build, long legs, and beautiful tan coat with white markings receive rave reviews all over town. He is an extremely polite and neat houseguest!! He is perfectly house trained, doesn't mark the windows with his nose, doesn't nibble the furniture, and never scratches the doors. Milo is the perfect work-from-home companion. He is attentive and gives amazing cuddles. He loves to nap or entertain himself with a toy (he prefers fuzzies and kongs to balls), until you are ready to take him out for walks. Speaking of walks, he is also really good on the leash! He doesn't bother the people or dogs that we encounter, just wags his tail and keeps on moving. He can be shy with big dogs when he first meets them, but that hesitation melts with a little socialization. He really loves little dogs and will lie totally flat on the ground so as to be 'at their level' and not intimidate them. He is whip smart, food motivated, and easy to train. He now knows sit, wait, no, off, and come. I am sure he will continue to learn more! He also knows how to go and get his own toys out of the toy box, and will often put them back himself! Milo is a loving, gentle, and wonderful little guy. His furever family will be so lucky to have him!' The adoption fee is $500. We require a fully fenced yard. We do not adopt to homes with electric or invisible fences because it is not as safe for the dog.
