About Tucker's World

Tucker will need to be match with an other dog so he can play. He was a stray and the first picture we saw of him at the shelter was from a little dog with very scared eyes. He was tucked away in the corner petrified. What a great surprise for his foster Mom to see how he is now out of the Shelter. Just a handsome, fun dog who is going to make a family very happy. He is believed to be 2 years old but actually might be younger. This is the note from the foster Mom Maria: 'I am pleased to introduce Tucker. He is a two-year old rat terrier mix with a lot of energy and spunk to go around. Tucker is very good natured and full of joy and wants to play all day long and snuggle all night long. He is still very young and has a puppy-like curiosity. He is a very friendly, well-adjusted, and happy fellow and exudes energy and charm. Tucker is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and heartworm negative. He weighs 21 lbs. and is just under knee high. He is the perfect size to easily manage, and he walks well on a leash. Tucker would do good if he were adopted into a home with one other dog. He loves to make friends with all the dogs he meets at the dog park because all he wants to do is play, play, play! If you are interested in Tucker, he is currently being fostered and available for adoption. His foster mom says that Tucker is a very sweet boy. ' We do not know if Tucker is good with cats. We do not adopt to family with small children. He will need some training and needs to know who is the alpha in the house. Please note that Rat terrier should go to a home who knows the breed and since he needs exercise he will require an active home and dog park or doggie daycare will be necessary.
