About Rowan

Loving, playful dark grey and white (with some red tones), 2 and a half yr old pit. Rowan has had professional training and walks and runs on a lead in a heel position beautifully. Rowan loves to play and does amazing with teens and adults. She does not do well with other dogs and has food/toy aggression with small children. (no other known issues - she is healthy, up to date on all vaccines and even uses the bathroom outside on demand). She has done well with the limited exposure that she has had to farm animals. We do not know how she does with cats. Rowan has been in our home since she was 6 weeks old, but we recently made a permanent move to Virginia to care for my Dad who has cancer. Other dogs,small children and our schedules are limiting the attention and exercise that she is used to. She needs a good home and would make someone incredibly happy to have found her.
