About Dolly & Brownie BONDED

Dolphin and Brownie are a goofy bonded pair of 4 year old Chihuahua mixes, and they are looking for their forever home together! Dolphin, AKA Dolly is a female and weighs 18 lbs fully grown. Brownie is a male and weighs 16 lbs fully grown. They are each other's biggest fans, and you will always find them together. They are a friendly duo who is not shy about climbing into your lap and demanding pets. They love to chase after toys and especially enjoy going outside and exploring. Dolly and Brownie would do best in a home with a yard that they could explore and run around in. This pair will light up any room they run into! Although they are delightful and loving companions, Dolly and Brownie were surrendered to us due to having an issue with Coprohagia. They don't particularly understand, and believe they are just doing their 'doo-ty' taking care of the planet by recycling. Yes, that was a poo pun because Coprohagia in layman's terms means stool eating. It is actually quite common, and we believe this issue can be avoided simply by monitoring them during potty breaks or on walks and quickly picking up right after they have a bow-wowel movement. All it will take is some doo-diligence! They are altered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. Their adoption fee is $200, which includes a complimentary veterinary follow-up visit. To potentially adopt Dolly & Brownie, please come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Rd in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time.
