All but one of her teeth were rotten. We bonded instantly and brought her home to await her dental appointment. But after her extractions we noticed she could not swallow food. The vet determined that stomach acid had burned her esophagus during anesthesia, causing it to scar and form strictures right away. He said if left untreated she will die. We are in a race to save her life. Even liquid food barely gets through and causes her to feel like she is choking. She is so scared she hides when we have to feed her!
