Is Junior still available?? (Unfortunately, we will not reply to emails asking this question as we do not have the time or volunteers to do so. We update our website daily just so you will know the status right away). PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE (wowdogrescue.org) for up to date information to find out. Check the Gallery on our home page by putting your mouse on the photo. IF it says Pending, we chose someone, but they haven't met up yet. If it says Adopted, then the dog has been happily united with a forever family. IF nothing is there other than their name, they are still available. Junior was a found boy in the desert...Aprox. 2-3 yrs old and had some wounds on his ears and his nose. We are sure that he was so afraid due to fending for himself for awhile. He is timid at 1st, but he does warm up quickly. Fast movement scare him though. He weighs in at 24.8 lbs. He has been going for walks with the current fosters and does ok for the most part. Still needs more practice. He will go to the back door for potty, and the 2 cats in the home do not phase him. He jumps in the car when its time to 'go'. **UPDATE: Foster brought him to her play area, and he was able to meet other dogs, and he did fantastic! Long body and a beautiful face that resembles a Vizsla mix with Basset. Eyes are golden and a gorgeous boy that enjoys laying in his crate most of the time (door open), but just feeling safe there. He will come out often and visit with the fosters. He likes the quietness of their home and will flourish as time goes on, however there must be patience for him to grow and build trust. Best with-out small kids that could possibly startle him if they ran to him quickly. He would be best with a senior, low activity home like he is currently in. WE ARE NOT PETFINDER. Junior will get neutered, Rabies shot, DHPP, Bordetella and a Microchip on 3/12/2021, then he will need time to heal before going to his forever home. **PLEASE do not call or email to see if he is 'still' available.
