Meet Colt, a gorgeous one-year-old, 57 lb. catahoula/pit mix with the most stunning golden eyes. Earlier this month, he was surrendered by his owners to a kill shelter in North Carolina so he's been through a lot and is ready to be matched with a true furever family. Now in Connecticut, Colt is ready to find his happily furever after! This handsome hunk is as sweet as they come! He loves being by your side and will happily hop onto the couch with you for endless snuggles. He has a great temperament and nice energy level. He enjoys chewing on bones, taking walks with his people, looking out the window, and playing out in the yard. He tested well with dogs in the shelter and would be fine with children who are dog savvy. You must have a fenced yard to be considered for his adoption. Adopters not gone long hours preferred. His adoption fee is $350 and Colt is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered.
