About Blue

This young 8-month-old lad is Blue and he is quite a character. He was surrendered to the shelter because the other dogs in his previous home did not like him. Blue, on the other hand, enjoys playing with other dogs, knows proper play-bow behavior and is very tolerant, so he could share a home with a dog buddy. Cats are simply too much fun to mess with, so, for the sake of the feline, he should not share a home with any kitties. Blue would do well with gentle and respectful children of any age; lots of family members to help keep him occupied would be great. Anyone familiar with the breed knows they are athletic and energetic, so he would thrive in a home where he can keep physically and mentally active and engaged; perhaps by participating in canine sports, nose-work, training classes or dog parkour. Blue has a grand time perusing a kiddie pool filled with toys and is a champion at squeaking and thrusting the toys about. He does excellent with all sorts of handling and adores soft pats and tender scratches. He is still a pup so he has a lot to learn; because he is smart, Blue will excel with your patient and positive guidance. He is friendly, easygoing and even-tempered; he is sure to be devoted to you and love you forever. Blue would be a superb playmate, walking or jogging partner and bed-warmer; he is hoping for a loving family who has a sense of humor and inhales life.
