About Sadie

Sadie is a sweet lady. She was a rescue that got hit by a car, we fought for about 6 months to save her leg but in the end she lost it last year. She does fine as long as she gets traction. Sadie loves to play ball and roll in the snow, she is 100% house trained, no potty accidents or chewing issues. There are 2 reasons I need to remove her from this home, I have an older, extremely dominant female pit/wolf mix and they are going to kill one another, no matter what I do I cannot get them to get along and the other dog is absolutely not re-homable, she does famously with my other dogs and she adores puppies. The second issue is she growls aggressively at my elderly step father who is deaf, he can't hear her growls and we are fearful she will bite him. I think Sadie has some vision issues in dim lighting and she has definitely been abused in the past but she's very protective of her family and loves us all so much. My husband passed away last year, he was her human, and it re-shifted the dominance balance because they both tried to claim me. Sadies my baby she deserves a great home with lovable human pets. Sadie does show aggression towards pot smokers for some reason. Cats are not recommended within sight, I won't say she kills cats since i haven't actually witnessed it, but I will say they disappear, it could be my other dog, I wouldn't chance it.
