Poor Mya's Dad passed away and she ended up in the shelter through no fault of her own. The family was devastated to have to surrender her as they had her since she was 6 weeks old and was an emotional support dog for a family member. Mya is 6 years old, a lab/aussie mix and weighs 55 pounds. Mya could stand to lose some weight but she is a happy-go-lucky girl anyway! She gets along with other dogs and cats and we've been told she loves children. She does pull a bit on the leash so training would be very helpful. Once we have determined that Mya is a good fit we will also do a home visit. Mya is NOT at the rescue and is being fostered.
