About Cooper

*Urgent need of Foster home* Hi-my name is Cooper, and I am a 5 year Swiss Mountain Dog and Lab mix. I am about 80 pounds.I was in a high kill shelter and about to be euthanized when PPITS rescued me. My former foster family had 6 teenagers and 3 Great Danes. I am not really a fan of cats! lol. I would be best in a home with children older than 12. I am super loving and sweet, love to play fetch, go on hikes, jog, and hang out with my people I know. I would do best in a home with a yard that I can run around in rather than be in an apartment. I can be very protective of my people and my space so I don't always like strangers. The good news is I am about to start a new training program to help me get some structure and discipline so strangers don't bother me as much. Other than that, I am a GREAT dog! I am crate trained and potty trained. I know my commands. I even know how to do doggie prayers! Once my training is completed, I will be ready to go home to a great family who can provide leadership and keep up with my training. I promise to be a great companion and give tons of unconditional love!
