About Rouge

Unfortunately we have to re home Rouge. He's a strong willed, very smart and loyal dog but has behavioral issues and needs to go to a home with probably just one owner. We have worked with a trainer a little when he first came here who specializes in dogs with behavioral issues. He has done good with all my dogs and honestly has so much potential and it breaks my heart to have to re home him. Unfortunately he has shown aggression to me a few times leading to me getting bit the other night. He spent a few nights with the trainer who has 17 or so dogs constantly and did not show any issues. Rouge has a intense bond with Donnie and l think that is part of the problem. We think he would do best with one owner or someone who wants a hunting dog or guard dog, or possibly someone with land that he can run around and explore. He listens off leash and also does great on a leash. He's kennel trained and does not have accidents in the house.
