About Daisy

Meet Daisy! She is a 1-year-old, 41lb female Pit mix. This sweet lady likes to be with her people at all times. She loves to sit on your lap or lay right next to you at nap time. Daisy would do well in a home that has older children as she can get overexcited and may knock over younger kids or older adults. Daisy is a strong girl and tends to pull on the leash during walks so a harness is a must to continue working on her leash manners. She is friendly and wags her tail in excitement when other dogs walk by her. She is ok with cats but can be more playful than most cats prefer. She is learning commands and listens to 'no' but if she doesn't want to stop what she is doing she will moan and talk back. Being that Daisy is a talker, she barks for a bit once she is in the crate but soon quiets down. She is sweet and does well with waiting for her bowl of food patiently but tends to eat quick so a slow feeder insert or toy would help her to enjoy her food at a slower pace. She is looking for someone that will spoil her with tummy rubs and kisses! As part of Daisy's $250 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
