2-5-21 2 years old. Transferred up from an overcrowded FL shelter. This boy was super sick when he came to us. Thankfully he got up to us where he could be treated because in most overcrowded shelters he would not have been given a chance. He was severely dehydrated and congested. He received daily nebulization treatments to help with his congestion. He is was receiving appetite stimulants because he did not want to eat. Staff had to syringe feed him canned food. The poor guy had ulcers on his tongue and nose. He was a mess but just sooooo friendly! Our staff fell in love with his sweet and affectionate personality. He has done wonderfully here and looks great and is eating just fine now. He will receive a second round of vaccines on 2/17 and be ready to go home! Milo was treated for the calicivirus which can be contagious to other cats. He may be better suited as an only kitty.
