About Odin

Meet Odin! Odin is a chocolate lab mix, approx., 80 pounds, 2-3 years old, and one big bear sweetheart! Odin in spite of his hard beginning he has to strut it off and takes things in strides. He has a wonderful temperament, good around other dogs and people, and very affectionate. Odin tries to listen to what you tell him and only wants to please you. He is a super-strong boy and has improved on-leash walking and not to jump up when excited, but overall he is a fine dog! He visited with a kitty-cat and did fine. He would love a home where he can get lots of love, attention and cuddle time. He would do fine with one other dog his size and submissive temperament or be an only dog if given plenty of human time! He would benefit having a nice fenced in yard with plenty of room to explore or sunbath in plus a warm fluffy bed to curl-up in. He would enjoy a stay-at-home or work-from home family member that he could just hang out with him. He is a quiet boy that rarely barks accept during those times expected. He has a great disposition but suited best with older kids since he is so puppy-like and strong. He would never hurt a fly. Odin for the most part is very healthy. He tested slightly positive for heartworms so we are treating him at no cost to the adopter. He is neutered and up-to-date plus microchipped.
