About Sally

Sally is a sweet, excitable, and goofy girl. She is equally happy to lounge on the couch with her humans all day or to go out for a long hike. She is well behaved in the house and is always so happy to see us when we get home. Our favorite quality about Sally is how affectionate she is. She loves to give kisses and snuggles right up when we sit on the couch. It truly breaks our hearts to need to rehome her. We observed increased behavioral issues last spring when we adopted a new puppy. Issues include resource guarding (human attention & food) and agitation. In the past two months Sally bit each of her owners. We can't help but conclude that Sally needs to be the single dog in a household. We are looking for the following qualities in her new home: No children No other pets Calm environment An understanding that despite how sweet she is she has bitten both current owners (bruising and small breaking of skin) Must be understanding of resource guarding
