About ERNIE

Ernie came to rescue a little over a year ago when his senior owners could not handle him, he would sometimes bit them. He has settled into his foster home with other small dogs, but would prefer to be an only dog. He has so much nervous energy, gets a calming pill before going to the groomers, then he does well. His furever home will offer him Lhasa Apso experienced, calm but firm adults, who are home a lot. No children. Ernie does not do well with change in his routine or meeting strangers. He will need as many meet & greets as he wants, before going to a foster to adopt placement, in the Boerne, Texas area. Ernie just had his 5th birthday, weighs 13lbs, is neutered, microchipped, current with shots, is heartworm negative, has had 6 months Proheart shot & is on Nextgard for flea/tic. Ernie is House broken & crate trained, MUST be a house dog. Monthly grooming & a securely fenced yard are required. We prefer Ernie to stay within a 25 mile radius of Boerne, Texas.
