About Rocky

Rocky is a misunderstood happy go lucky guy. He came to the rescue as an owner surrender. The children in the home were abusing Rocky and taught him bad habits. Rocky was unsure of how to play or even be a dog when he came to the rescue. With time his toy possession and manners have significantly improved. Rocky is now housebroken, crate trained, knows sit, stay, crate, spin and for the most part no longer jumps up. He will exchange toys or items he is being possessive of for a treat and he is gentle and easy to give a bath to. In the home Rocky is a perfect gentlemen, he is extremely observant and absorbs everything you do. He is a loyal companion and will be by your side constantly. Rocky is good with older appropriate kids and adults with slow introduction. At first when meeting someone new Rocky has anxiety and gets overly excited. He starts to sound like Kevin from the movie Up and will spin in circles. He instantly wants to play but his play appears as aggression. He is looking for someone to give him a chance. Rocky is one of my all time favorite rescue dogs. Due to Rocky's leash reactivity to people he would do best in a home with a fenced in yard. He is looking for an experienced and dominant owner.
