Cesar is a six year old Labrador/Pitbull mix that came to our shelter after his owner passed away. Once a beloved family member, he is used to living inside a home and completely housebroken. This handsome boy weighs fifty-three pounds and has a shiny chocolate colored coat. Cesar is best suited for an adult or family with older children that are home most of the day. He prefers to be the only dog but does do well with cats. Cesar is a mature dog that is fairly laid back. Show him a ball or squeaky toy, however, and his puppy side quickly comes out. Cesar is obsessed with balls and playing fetch. He will play until your arm wears out; then ask for a back-up pitcher so he can continue to play! We figured out it is best to set a time limit and only use Kong balls; he can chew right through a tennis ball. A fenced in yard is a must to keep him from wandering. Cesar also enjoys going on trips to the park. He rides calmly and quietly in the car. He also does not pull on his leash. Cesar is a loyal devoted dog that would love to be your best friend.
