She has learned many basic commands paired with sign language cues and or gestures which are practiced daily in short training sessions and used successfully in context. 1. Sit (ASL sign for sit) 2. Stay (flat hand up) 3. Down (gesture or point to floor) for lay down 4. Come (ASL sign for come) 5. Off (English sign for off) of something/someone 6. Wait (ASL sign for wait followed by pointer finger up) 7. Heel (a tug on the leash / slip collar released once successful paired with a verbal) 8. No (ASL sign for no). 9. Eat (ASL sign for eat) 10. Water (ASL for water) first sign she learned! If I sign water, point to mine and ask where is her water, she goes to it and drinks. 11. Calm ( ASL sign for calm down or settle) paired with a slow steady 'ssshh' LETS GIVE HER THE CHANCE SHE SO DESERVES. SHE DOES NEED AN EXPERIENCED DOG HOME WITH NO YOUNG CHILDREN, NO CATS, AND SHE SHOULD BE THE ONLY DOG. PROGRAM FEE: $450 THIS FEE IS VITAL TO THE SUCCESS OF OUR PROGRAM.
