Sweets Blue Nose Pitbull mix Female 2 years old 60 lbs. Looking for an energetic, loving, kind pup to take home? If so, I'm your girl! My name is Sweets, and the name rings true to my personality every day. I love going on walks, playing with tennis balls, cuddling on the couch, and lounging around the house when you're busy. I'm potty-trained and I respond to 'sit' if you have a treat ready for me. I'm very outgoing and playful! I respond to all humans very well. I warm up pretty instantly to most new people and just want all the love! I've had a little bit of caution with one of the men in my foster home so I may need a bit of confidence building with some men (but my foster dad and I were best buds immediately so in general, I'm pretty comfortable right off the bat!) I'm also crate-trained, so I'm just fine with sleeping in a crate at night or going in on my own to rest throughout the day. While I am sweet as pie, I do have a bit of a sour taste in my mouth for other dogs. I need to be the only animal in my forever home. And when I see other dogs or cats on walks, I pull hard on my leash, whine, and bark at other dogs until my attention is redirected elsewhere. Therefore, I do need an adopter who is strong and able to manage me on leash (and I definitely need a well-fitted harness too!) Since my reaction to other dogs is difficult to manage, I'm not going to be the right match for an apartment and do need a secure yard to enjoy some peace and quiet without needing to see other animals all the time (even better, a home with some land and no other animals would just be perfect for me!)
