About Pastelito

This little sweet thing is Pastelito. He is about two months old and will be ready to go to his forever home on 2/12/21. He is here at the shelter now and can have visitors and be adopted but will have to stay with us until that date. He is a Siberian Husky mix (with what we don't know). Social, NOT housebroken, good with other dogs, young enough to train with cats. Good with kids and adults. Puppies are what their families make of them - the more work you put in the better the adult dog you will have. If you don't have time (and it takes a lot) for a puppy - don't get one. They are definitely work. With their breed mix they are vocal pups. In order to visit you have to have submitted an application and been tentatively approved. You will find the application on our website at www.patriotsforpets.com and it is under the Adoption tab. Adoption fees on puppies is $275.00. That includes spay/neuter, current puppy shots, worming and micro-chip. Puppies will require balance of puppy shots so you will have vet bills on them in the next two months to complete their shots. A fenced in yard is preferable but will not be mandatory depending upon the plan for exercise. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do your research on Siberian Huskies before you decide you want one just because they are beautiful. They are really not a dog for the inexperienced person and they are not apartment dogs typically. Our adoption counselors will ask enough questions to determine if you have done your homework on the breed.
