About Pot Belly Pig

Abu was born here at our rescue in September of 2020 as one of Moana's Munchkins. Her mother came to us underage and pregnant from a neglectful situation and soon after gave birth to four beautiful babies. We left them with their mother until they were ready to be weaned from her naturally. �'�� Now that they're old enough to be separated, they're ready to find their own forever homes! Hei-Hei and Perdita have already found theirs, but Abu and Rajah are still looking! �'�� Abu is a little more timid than Rajah and takes a little longer to warm up, but once she does, you have a friend for life! �'�� Abu unfortunately broke one of her hind toes and for a little while we weren't sure if we were going to have to amputate it or not, but she healed up great and was able to keep it and doesn't let it slow her down at all! �'�� She has been fully vetted, vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. We are looking to adopt her out to a family that either currently has a pig or is willing to adopt a second so that she will not be alone. Solo pigs are often depressed and act out so although it may seem daunting for a first time owner, believe us, two pigs are far easier than one!
