About Jeb

Meet Jeb! Jeb is a big, sweet boy who loves to play and explore. He is very affectionate and adores attention. He is very happy to see his humans and runs 'zoomies' when he is let out of the dog run. Jeb needs a fenced yard. He hasn't tried to over the fence during the week and a half that he spent in foster. On walks he does well on the leash - even when he sees a rabbit and wants to chase it, he will stop pulling if you hold firm. Because he is a big fella (about 80 lbs) and doesn't realize his own strength, it is best if older teenagers or adults walk him. Jeb needs a home with no cats or other small pets - he does great with his current roommate who is about the same size as him. He alerts and runs toward outside cats when he seems them. The foster has an older male dog and Jeb has squabbled with him over a bone. The small dog is a senior so Jeb 'won' (there was no harm to either dog). All other times they have shared the yard with no problems but the presence of a bone or treat changes things. We believe a single dog home would be his best fit. It isn't known if he is 100% housebroken but he does keep his kennel clean. We believe if he isn't 100% house trained that it definitely won't take much to finish the task. This sweet boy will make a great companion. He's ready to be part of an active and loving home. Jeb is about 3 years old and is an American Bulldog (mix). In order to adopt you have to submit an adoption application and it has to be tentatively approved to visit. He is neutered, current on shots, wormed, heartworm negative and micro-chipped.
