About Cindy

Cindy is an approximately three year-old, 40 lb border collie, cattle dog mix currently being fostered in Lakeland, FL (Polk County). This girl has the sweetest, most ideal personality. She will cuddle up with anyone willing to give some affection. She does great with people and dogs alike. Some of Cindy's favorite things include sleeping, snuggling, playing with other dogs, chewing toys, eating treats and bones, and laying around. She knows basic commands including sit, place, and coming when called. She is a good watch dog and does like to bark at the mailman! Once boundaries and rules are established, she does a great job following them. She can resource guard people food and care would need to be taken to make sure people food wasn't given to other dogs while in Cindy's presence; although, she doesn't seem to have any problems with dog treats and dog food. We feel that due to this, Cindy would do best in a home with children over 10 years old. Cindy lives to please. She wants to be the very best dog. She can be chill and relaxed but is also down to play if others ask her to. Cindy is house trained, spayed, heartworm free and up-to-date on vaccines.
