About Sophie

This post is going out with a Hail Mary and a prayer that there is one special angel viewing this with no other dogs . MUST FIND FOSTER/ADOPTER BY SAT 2/13 * This beautiful 6-y/o spayed girl, Sophie, is a purebred blue-nose gray pitbull who is perfect if you are looking for a low-moderate energy companion. Sophie needs a solo-pet, adult only home (no kids under 13) as does not care for other dogs and is intimidated by small children at her eye level. Her parents, who are losing their home due to Job loss and have to move in with relatives that have other dogs, say Sophie is great with all people, very affectionate, walks well on a leash, loves car rides, and does not resource-guard. Other than her recent diagnosis of hypothyroidism (the reason she is overweight), she has no other medical concerns. The only thing she needs is a healthy diet, an appropriate amount of activity, and her thyroid medication which costs only $22 a month. This beautiful girl has had a loving family her whole life and will be devastated when she has to be separated from them; please help us keep her out of the shelter!
