About Lola

Lola is a very sweet and smart dog. She is stunning with her caring eyes. She loves getting attention from her foster. She absolutely gets excited being around humans and always approaches to be pet on her head. She has been learning some important commands (Sit, go) and time has proven that she is a very fast learner. She responds and stops immediately when her name is called. She loves being outside and getting a sun tan. Usually inside she likes to chill and always look for a spot that there is sun to lay down. She usually rolls on her back. She is very food driven so food time and treats get her attention. She sometimes like to play with toys. During car rides, in the beginning she gets a little nervous but after some minutes, she calms herself down. During baths, she gets impatient and does not like to be touched on her paws. Unfortunately, it seems that Lola had a rough past, she displays fear of the outside world and needs an owner that can help her explore things slowly. She needs time to process things. She can be on high alert when she spots dogs from a distance. She feels that dogs can be a threat for her. She had a rough start with my foster's two dogs. After some time, she is getting on a comfort level that allows her to be around them on a time limit basis. She has definitely has shown some improvements. I believe that will thrive in a stable consistent home that can work on socialization with other dogs and confidence building. I cannot wait to see her in a nurturing home and to be loved. Lola am currently in a foster home in Texas. If you decide to adopt her Rescue Road Trips will transport her north. My adoption fee includes transport!
