About Goldie

Goldie - 1-2 year old, chi/terrier mix, about 12 pounds. Extremely shy with adults, kids are her comfort zone specifically 2-5 years old. She clearly was severely mistreated/abused before coming to us. Adults have proven they must earn her trust and she won't let you forget it. She LOVES CHILDREN. She sleeps with her foster kid, follows him everywhere throughout the house and will whine when he is gone. She will use a potty pad if she can't get outside. Terrified of the leash and walking out in public. Crate trained but on her terms, and she MUST come out of the crate on her own. Goldie has great potential, but needs space, time, and lots of patience to feel most comfortable in her new home. She is a fear biter if she feels cornered by an adult. Has never nipped at children.
