About Dahlia

Everyone meet our newest girl Dahlia! She will be recovering from heartworm treatment for a bit, but we are offering her to foster to adopt applicants so she can go ahead and get into her forever home. Dahlia is a very special girl. On the paper work she came with, we learned that she supposedly did some dog shows. She also knows German commands, even though she could use a good refresher overall. Dahlia is a 6 year old Rottweiler that weighs right at 80 lbs. She has that classic pointed coat and beautiful brown eyes. Dahlia is a very good girl overall. In a new place, she can take a bit to settle, but once she does she is golden. She is crate trained and for the most part very good in the house. She does love food though, so she is still learning that counter surfing is a no no. Dahlia takes a second to respect a new person while walking on leash, but once she does she walks very well. She is currently not in the best physical fitness, and will obviously have to be crate tested with heartworm treatment. Once she gets healthy she will be a great leisurely walk buddy. Dahlia is good with other dogs and cats, she might be a bit much for a house with small kids as she always wants to check and see if people have treats for her. Dahlia's adoption fee is $150 and includes her vaccines, deworming, spay, microchipping, and basic training. When you are contacted, you will be told if your application is approved or not. If it is we will proceed with a meet and greet. After everyone has had a chance to do a meet and greet we will then proceed with the adoption to the selected family. If you comment 'interested' that does not count as an application.
