About Tucker

Tucker is a border Collie mix he loves to please and does best when he is challenged. He has basic obedience training and is house broken as well as crate trained. He does have some resource guarding issues involving food. Toys and his people. He also has some body handling issues and does not like to feel closed in. He needs someone that can devote the time he needs to become a well adjusted dog. He unfortunately had a bite incident. It was when he was stressed with extra people in our home. They were petting him and moved their other arm and he reacted by swinging his head and he caught their arm. He immediately went to his crate when told and has not had another issue. I feel he may have been instinctively 'hearding' the movement. I of course can not know that for sure. We are moving in a few months and he will not be able to go with us. He has to find a new home that can help him be the best dog he is waiting to become.
