Please read the below information thoroughly about this dog and if you are interested in fostering or adopting, please fill out the pre-screener form. Do not click the 'Adopt Me' button on this webpage. This animal is not directly available for adoption through ACC and is only available by completing the pre-screener form. Adoption inquiries sent directly to ACC will not receive a response. Pre-Screener Form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScKLGIu_A4UM1UVorihdZ_-D6VFePlGkViWT4u_iKkogowvng/viewform?fbclid=IwAR0fb2x_Et3jeRVGjwREyyK7SxZ4dHAQ47g2jEe9j733zkXA5AuuGAU_Zac Lola was brought to the care center following a bite incident in her home involving the children when attempting to put her in her kennel and the situation escalated. Lola has also had two previous bite incidents with the daughter but the circumstances of these bites were not given. At the care center Lola has not allowed handling or leashing growling and snapping at the leash when it is presented. She presents as highly fearful and avoidant with handlers, and has not opened up during her stay. Due to all noted concerns displayed in a home environment, the behavior department recommends Lola be placed with a New Hope placement partner who is able to provide an experienced adult-only foster home. A period of decompression is recommended to allow Lola to acclimate comfortably to her new environment; force-free, reward based training only is advised when introducing Lola to new and unfamiliar situations. Consultation with a professional trainer/behaviorist is highly recommended for guidance to safely manage/modify any behavior Lola presents with outside of the care centers. Where can you find me?
