About Oakley

Adoption Fee: $450
Great Pyrenees mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Oakley is approx 2 years old and weighs 72 pounds. He's maybe a gp mix or some kind of shep? He came into the shelter as a stray and waited on the stray hold and no one came to claim him. He's very sweet, does well with other dogs, and staff/volunteers at the shelter. He's not been cat tested at this time. He's crate trained but living in a shelter environment now so we don't know if he's house trained. He seems to know sit for treats and food but we are unsure about other basic commands. He can use a little work on the leash but he's been a stray so he's used to being in charge of himself. At this time we don't know if he's been around very young kids but he's gentle and friendly so if you have younger kids they would need to be respectful of his space until he can decompress. He has average energy for his age and size and sheds average. He is currently in Fort Worth, TX but can make the trek to Olympia, WA scheduled to arrive on Saturday Feb 6th with a pre-adoption which is the only way to secure that he will for sure go home with you! Pre-Adoption means getting your app in, approved and paying the adoption fee to secure the ride. His adoption fee is $450 which covers his neuter, vaccinations, HW testing, chipping, health certificate and transport fees. All our dogs come with a 30 day, money back, trial period to make sure they are the right fit in your environment. Tall Tails Rescue has a commitment to these dogs for their lifetime and we hope you do too!
